  Today in Readers' Workshop the Kindergartners engaged in a Cooperative Learning Strategy called Table-Top Twitter. Students were provided with pieces of a text that were glued to a large sheet of chart paper. In small groups of 3-4, students read a passage and responded to one another in writing by asking questions and stating their opinions. The students couldn’t talk to each other, only write and read. At times a "tweet break" was allowed to whisper with the group to sound and stretch out new words! The whole class then discussed the text and even had a chance to write on other groups papers.

 Today during our class morning calendar routine we discussed the LIFE pajama story time coming up next week! We marked our special day with a super smiley face and the count-down has officially begun! We hope to see you then!
