After recess on Friday we discovered footprints and a trail of leprechaun grass in our classroom. We made some traps, in hopes of catching one over the weekend!
There is a leprechaun loose in our classroom! The Kindergarteners have a mission! We need to catch him, but need to make some traps! This Friday, March 15th we will make them. Start sending in any supplies you may have at home!
A BIG thank you to Mrs. Keilty! She read to the class an amazing read aloud All About Abe Lincoln! They made connections and were able to share with one another!
We have been practicing Fluency in reading! One way is by reading poetry! Here's the words to the poem we have learning! Practice at home!!
One green shamrock, in the morning dew,' Another one sprouted, and then there were two. Two green shamrocks, growing beneath a tree;' Another one sprouted, and then there were three.' Three green shamrocks, by the cottage door;' Another one sprouted, and then there were four. Four green shamrocks, near a beehive' Another one sprouted, and then there were five. Five little shamrocks, bright and emerald green,' Think of all the luck these shamrocks will bring. |
