As you probably have heard from your child, we FILLED OUR MARBLE JAR yesterday! Our classroom marble jar is a way of promoting positive reinforcement with the class. Anytime the students use teamwork (group work, walking in the hall, transitioning throughout the classroom, working hard, getting a compliment, etc.) the students receive marbles in our classroom marble jar. We celebrated with a pajama day!

Thank you for visiting our blog! I am so happy to hear that he is enjoying 1st grade! I told him he would. I will be at JMS on Tuesday for a meeting. I will come down to the classroom to say hello!

Miss GleasonWhat we're learning in first grade. Students are also making comments in class! At home add to the posts, too. Archives
