Today the Kindergarten class took a walk to the Morris Public library to thank Mrs. Gail for helping them each Tuesday morning read! As the end of the year approaches and summer temperatures begin to rise, the students have been discussing their plans for the summer. They wanted to know more about their local library and what it has to offer. When they were there-they actively engaged in a read aloud with Mrs. Gopel, as well as a tour of the library and reading rooms! Today was a special day and a perfect way to launch the CT Summer Reading Challange. More information will be sent home about it, but explore the link for some articles and materials! http://www.sde.ct.gov/sde/cwp/view.asp?a=2683&Q=320322
