3/22/14 Marked World Water Day! We have been learning and doing so much around this special day!
On World Water Day, people everywhere show that they care and that they have the power to make a difference. We were inspired by information from a local author Christine Ieronimo and her story, book, and experiences! We took action and learned how to change things- starting with washing our hands and brushing our teeth. This year many will focus on the power that water and jobs have to transform people’s lives. Nearly all jobs are related to water and those that ensure its safe delivery. But today, millions of people who work in water are often not recognized or even protected by basic labour rights. This needs to change. We uploaded a picture of us on water.org and for every picture and message we create the site donates $1.00 to water funds! To us water is life and water is inspiration!
