Today students made connections and remembered all they've learned in the personal narrative writing unit that helps them bring their stories to life! Our lesson began with the story Frankenstein. We thought about how the scientist was able to bring the character to life. We made the connection to how we use strategies already that help us to bring our stories to life! We looked back at our writing chart. Then, we learned that if we want to make our stories more special we can use craft moves we have learned from studying mentor authors! We looked closely at Mr. Mark Kimball Moulton's work. We tried out the craft move of telling the exact actions people do!
