Today was an exciting day! We had the opportunity to visit a different elementary school in our district and make some new friends! When we first arrived we were anticipating what was going to happen. In our experience, we were able to watch, listen, and enjoy some music, language, and ethnic dancing from an African drum circle! We can not wait to share with you our thoughts about today's music, clothing, language, and dancing! Scroll down below to view pictures of some of classmates and click here to view a quick video! It was so interesting and fun to learn about a different culture. We also had the opportunity to meet the first grade students from Morris and Warren elementary school and have recess and lunch with them. We had the chance to get in our very own drum circle and learn more about the Spanish drums and other musical instruments! We even participated in a "table top" Twitter where we wrote our thoughts about the assembly and our day using our markers and crayons. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
